A new committee is being started in 2024 by Tri-State Telugu Association(TTA) for Tri-state residents grades 6th-12th. Are you a TTA member and if you are a teen who is passionate about making a difference in your community and self? If so, we encourage you to apply to be on the Youth Committee at TTA!

The Youth Committee is a great way to get involved in your community while you gain exposure and service hours. This is a great opportunity for teens to create, develop, and lead programs with their peers.

The Youth Committee will have the opportunity to lead community service projects, building their capacity for self-reliance, social responsibility, teamwork, and mentorship, which will give youth more control of their future and a sense of belonging and connection. The goal of the program is to provide a safe welcoming space for teens to have recreational opportunities as well as social and emotional support

Annually, TTA will recognize every youth committee member to celebrate and honor not only their service hours as a TTA Youth Committee Member but also would love to recognize their outstanding actions towards self and community development.

If you are a TTA member and part of TTA Youth Committee, the Nominations for ‘Youth Committee Recognition Awards 2024’ will be open from February 15, 2024 to March 15, 2024 and we love to see your entry! The nomination period is for the year 2023. The awards will be presented at TTA Ugadi celebrations on April 6, 2024 and all the nominees will receive invite and further details once we receive your nomination
